Open Records Request

All requests for public records should be submitted directly to the Commission in writing (via our online form, at the bottom of this page) and should identify the records requested by name of filer, date of filing, type of record and/or case number.

Commission staff will promptly respond to each written record request and inform the requester of the estimated cost and turnaround time for producing the requested records. If the Commission withholds a document that has been requested pursuant to the Open Records Act, the Commission will provide a written response detailing the reasons. 

The state charges $0.10 per page of physically copied records. In addition, a processing fee for staff time spent in research and retrieval of requested records shall apply; however, there is no charge for the first 15 minutes of staff time. 

Payment for the requested documents is required by the Commission before the records will be produced.
