CCDR Filing Deadline

Posted By chrislafay On March 14, 2014 @ 3:35 pm In | No Comments

This reminder is intended for Candidates ONLY. If this is not your election year then kindly disregard this notice. If this is your election year, you will use the “C” Filer ID and Password to electronically file your report.

The ACT requires candidates to file a CCDR for the period ending March 31, 2014. The CCDR should be filed with the Commission between March 31, 2014 and April 7, 2014 to avoid automatic late filing fees.

The end of the file period is March 31, 2014. Information on the CCDR must reflect all activity or lack of activity through this date.

There is a 5-day grace Period after the end of the file period. The grace period ends on April 7, 2014.

The CCDR must be filed by this date to avoid automatic late filing fees.

A filer whose CCDR is filed after the end of the grace period has expired is in violation of the law and subject to late filing fees.

A March 31, 2014 CCDR is late if it is filed after April 7, 2014 and a $125.00 automatic late filing fee is imposed upon the filer for each report that is filed late.

If the CCDR has still not been filed by April 15, 2014, an additional $250.00 late filing fee is imposed upon the filer for each report that is filed late.

Failure to file the CCDR by May 15, 2014, which is the 45th day after the due date of the CCDR, will cause an additional $1000.00 late filing fee to be imposed for each report that is filed late.

If you have any questions related to the reporting requirements, form completion, or online filing system please do not hesitate to phone 404-463-1980 and request assistance.
