RE: 2009 Aircraft Valuation Figures – Mileage and Hourly Rates
- In accordance with Rule 189-3-.06, Commission staff researched the value of flight on noncommercial aircraft and determined the following:
- The value of flight on a noncommercial jet aircraft that seats 12 or more passengers is $25 per mile or $5,000 per hour.
- The value of flight on a noncommercial jet aircraft that seats less than twelve passengers is $15 per mile or $3,000 per hour.
- The value of flight on a noncommercial aircraft with multiple propeller engines is $7.50 per mile or $1,500 per hour.
- The value of flight on a noncommercial aircraft with a single propeller engine is $2.50 per mile or $500 per hour.
- The value of flight on a helicopter that seats 13 or more passengers is $15 per mile or $3,000 per hour.
- The value of flight on a helicopter that seats less than 13 passengers is $7.50 per mile or $1,500 per hour
