1. Gift example: gift card
2. Meals
3. Entertainmentt example: tickets to an Event
4. Lodging example: hotel
5. Equipment example: cell phone
6. Advertising example: newspaper ad
7. Travel example: gas
8. Postage example: stamps for mailings
Note: In the 2011 Act, the definition of expenditure was amended to add, “reimbursement or payment of actual and reasonable expenses provided to a public officer for transportation (unless not arranged by the lobbyist), travel, lodging, registration, food, beverages, and other activities related to attending a meeting or conference.”
