How to Pay Lobbyist Late Fees

Lobbyist late fees can be paid via money order or check made out to the Campaign Finance Commission. Please include payment for all outstanding late fees in one check, if at all possible. The Commission will accept payments by personal check but we have attached W-9 information for the Commission [1] to expedite payment via company check, as well. We do not have the capability to accept payment by credit card at this time.

To expedite processing of checks, please write your lobbyist number on the memo line of the check and include a printout of your late fee notice in the mailing envelope.

Checks to pay lobbyist late fees should be mailed to the Commission at:
Georgia Campaign Finance
200 Piedmont Avenue
Suite 1402; West Tower
Atlanta, Georgia 30334
Attention: lobbyist late fees

Please allow at least two weeks processing time for all late fee check payments.

Appealing a Lobbyist Late Fee

Waivers of lobbyist late fees are granted infrequently. The Commission may waive or suspend a late fee if the late fee has been assessed in error or if payment of the late fee would present an undue hardship. The Commission may also waive or suspend a late fee if there are no items to be included in the report.      Â
