How to Pay Lobbyist Late Fees
Posted By gaethics On April 21, 2011 @ 8:12 pm In Lobbyist Questions | No Comments
Lobbyist late fees can be paid via money order or check made out to the Campaign Finance Commission or in person with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. Please include payment for all outstanding late fees in one check, if at all possible. The Commission will accept payments by personal check but we have attached W-9 information for the Commission to expedite payment via company check, as well.
To expedite processing of checks, please write your lobbyist number on the memo line of the check and include a printout of your late fee notice in the mailing envelope.
Checks to pay lobbyist late fees should be mailed to the Commission at:
Georgia Campaign Finance
200 Piedmont Avenue S.E.
Suite 1402 West Tower
Atlanta, Georgia 30334
Attention: lobbyist late fees
Please allow at least two weeks processing time for all late fee check payments.
The Commission may waive or suspend a late fee if the late fee has been assessed in error or if payment of the late fee would present an undue hardship. A hardship waiver request form must be submitted to the agency for the waiver of late fees to be considered
