How to file a Two Business Day Report

The Two Business Day Report is used to report contributions (including loans) of $1,000 or more, that are recieved between the last report due before an election and the election itself. The contribution(s) must be reported to the Commission within two business days of reciept of the contribution and reported on the next regularly scheduled campaign contribution disclosure report.

TBD REPORT EVENTS FOR 2011

Complete and file a TBD Report if you are a candidate qualified for a 2011 election and any of the following applies….

  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the June 30th CCDR filing period but prior to the General Primary Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing due 15 days before the Special Election but prior to the Special Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing due 6 days before the Run-Off Election but prior to the Run-Off Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing due 15 days before the Special Election but prior to the Special Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing period but prior to the November 4th General Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing due 15 days before the Special Election but prior to the Special Election date.
  • Contributions of $1,000.00 or more are accepted after the CCDR filing due 6 days before the Run-Off Election but prior to the Run-Off Election date.

The following identifying information is required

*Full name of the contributor
*Mailing address of the contributor
*PAC affiliation if applicable
*Date contribution was received
*Occupation & employer of the contributor
*Amount of contribution
*Type of contribution (Monetary, In-Kind or Loan
*Election (Primary, Primary Run-Off, General, General Run-Off, etc.)

The TBD Report must be electronically filed with the Commission at www.ethics.ga.gov [1]

There is no grace period for contributions required to be reported within two business days.
