Candidate Committee

A candidate committee is a campaign committee for a candidate that accepts contributions or makes expenditures designed to bring about the nomination or election of  that candidate to any elected office.

A Candidate is not required to have a candidate committee. A Candidate may choose to form a candidate committee to promote his/her election, as well to maintain records and file reports as required by the Act. However, a Candidate can only have one candidate committee per campaign.
